The Madras World Missionary Conference

Hachiro Yuasa, former president of Doshisha University, Kyoto, on the Madras World Missionary Conference, in the spring 1939 Faculty Forum series "Religion and the Changing World," the 13th annual series. Friday noon luncheon at the University YMCA, part of a two-day visit by delegates to the Madras conference. Yuasa had resigned the Doshisha presidency under government pressure; he earned his Ph.D. at Illinois in 1920.
