Robert J. Maurer, professor of physics at the University of Illinois; Paul F. Schmidt of Oberlin College; and Franklin H. Littell of Chicago Theological Seminary, at the first session of a two-day symposium that closed the fall 1963 Faculty Forum series "The Individual in America: Controlled or Controlling" and marked the University YMCA's 90th anniversary.
