Franklin H. Littell of Chicago Theological Seminary; Paul F. Schmidt of Oberlin College; and Robert J. Maurer, professor of physics at the University of Illinois, on the second day of the symposium that closed the fall 1963 Faculty Forum series "The Individual in America: Controlled or Controlling" and marked the University YMCA's 90th anniversary. The day included the Faculty Forum luncheon in Latzer Hall, 4 p.m. breakout sessions and 7:30 p.m. rebuttals moderated by Bernard J. Diggs.
