Kryss Chupp opened with a moment of silence for the worshippers killed hours earlier in the mosque attacks in New Zealand and a land acknowledgment for Indigenous peoples. Describing herself as a faith-based activist rather than an academic, she led a short paired reflection exercise on nonviolence, then recounted about 25 years with Christian Peacemaker Teams, describing its origins in the historic peace churches during 1980s Central America and its accompaniment work in Colombia, Indigenous communities in Canada, Iraqi Kurdistan, Hebron and Lesbos. Audience questions followed.
