Rev. Katey Zeh, a Baptist minister and interim executive director of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, spoke on reproductive freedom as a Christian value. She examined biblical passages often cited in abortion debates, recounted her evangelical upbringing in southeast Georgia, her Yale Divinity School training and her volunteer work accompanying patients at an abortion clinic, and traced the clergy consultation service on abortion of 1967-1973, the rise of the religious right and the reproductive justice framework. About twenty minutes of audience Q&A followed. Fall 2019 series "Womxn Rise Up."
