Democracy as a Way of Life

Marie Ström recounted her work for democratic transition in South Africa, the 1994 election, and the Citizen Leadership Program; Harry Boyte argued for a "democracy 3.0," aspirational citizenship and free spaces, drawing on his work with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and on Rosenwald schools.
