As the pandemic became our reality, followed by political unrest, uncertainty, and a fracturing of our country, Shannon Percoco's artistic intuition was to look for, and sometimes to find or create, the beautiful. Painting became a peaceful meditation on the natural world rather than ruminating in the chaos. Viewers are invited to reflect on the images and consider the effect.
