Art @ the Y

Art @ the Y turned Murphy Lounge, on the first floor of the University YMCA, into a gallery for art that speaks to social justice, international understanding, environmental activism, faith and cultural understanding. The program began in fall 2009 with the Global Lens film series, and its first exhibition, The Other Pakistan, opened on Sept. 23, 2010. Four to six exhibitions open each year, most with a reception and a talk by the artists, and all are free and open to the public.

This catalogue lists every exhibition we know of, drawn from the Y's exhibition cards, annual reports, gallery calendar, website and photographs. We are still confirming dates for some shows and looking for the ones that would fill the gaps.
