William Estrada, UIC faculty member and teaching artist at Telpochcalli Elementary in Chicago's Little Village, spoke in connection with his Art@theY exhibition "Radical Printmaking." He walked through two decades of classroom and public projects: puppetry, murals, screenprinting on street corners, his Mobile Street Art Cart, the Radical Print Shop and collaborations with Chicago collectives. A long Q&A covered accessibility, language barriers, teaching-artist contracts and his own reclaiming of Mexican identity. Held on Zoom because of snow.
