On the University YMCA's 150th Founders Day, a panel of former executive directors Mike Doyle and John Jordan, Cassie Carroll (student board president, then Board of Governors member, now trustee) and Becca Guyette (former program and development director), facilitated by former program director Scott Peters by Zoom. Executive director Jim Hinterlong opened, and Peters sketched the periodization from his 125th-anniversary history. Panelists recounted being hired, student environmental organizing and KYU, and the student-driven origins of the CU Immigration Forum and the New American Welcome Center. Audience members added recollections of Kent State in 1970 and the YWCA's move into the building.
